Paul Stanley reflected on his latest health battle that affected his and KISS' schedule.

KISS canceled three of its remaining eight shows as part of the group's farewell tour after Stanley experienced a health issue. The canceled live shows were originally scheduled in Ottawa and Toronto, with the third postponed show set in Knoxville, Tenn.

Paul Stanley Opened Up About Health Battle

On X, Stanley unveiled a photo of himself taking a bed rest while having his IV fluid. He penned a statement sharing his status and how he tried to make it possible to continue performing.

He shared a similar sentiment before KISS launched its Indianapolis show.

"You know, I've done shows with cracked ribs, I've done shows with a 103 fever," he said. "[This time] I literally... I was wondering if it was my time. But anyway, I'm here and its awesome."

KISS only has four concerts left as part of its End of the Road trek, with the final show happening at New York City's Madison Square Garden on December 2.

The Future of KISS Revealed

KISS' The End of the Road tour sparked rumors regarding the band's disbandment. After a long buzz, Gene Simmons told Rolling Stone on November 15 that the trek would be the band's last.

"My hand on the Bible," he said. "And I should know because my people wrote that book. In fact, my people also wrote the follow-up book, the New Testament. And so I'll say right here, right now, my hand on the Bible, it will be the final Kiss-in-makeup appearance."

However, he clarified that the "end of the road for the band" does not mean the end of "the brand."

With that, it sparked talks that KISS would continue in different ways.

After the tour, Simmons shared that there would still be a one-off show in the future which his bandmates would also approve. While they are all getting older, he clarified that they would not be like the other bands who sit down during their farewell and reunion shows.
