Though Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are on amicable terms with each other and his new wife, Jennifer Lopez, the former couple's friendly relationship is being challenged by one of the actor's habits.
Insiders close to Garner reveal that she finds it challenging to come to terms with her ex-husband's smoking, per OK magazine.
Smoking Problems
The insider revealed a stark contrast between Garner and Lopez's perspectives on Affleck's smoking habit.
"Jen and J.Lo have very different views on it."
They said that Lopez was thankful Affleck has remained sober, thinking that if he needs to smoke to get through the day, it is better than a relapse. On the other hand, Garner finds the vice "disgusting."
As per a source's claims, Garner has strict regulations that she will not tolerate being broken in front of the three kids - such as prohibiting smoking near them.
The inside source declared that Garner had respected the "Batman v. Superman" actor's right to privacy, although it tested her proverbial patience.
"Her not inserting herself into Ben's business is admirable," they said, "but this situation has become too much for her."
Lopez and Garner have entirely different outlooks on smoking, but the "Jenny From The Block" singer recently revealed her faith in Affleck, whom she married back in 2022. She trusts him entirely regarding all aspects of their life together.

Partners In Life
In a recent interview, Lopez stated that her marriage to the Boston native was about more than work-- they were true partners in life. As parents and lovers, they strongly bonded as a couple.
"We discuss everything with each other ... I want his opinion because I trust him. I know he has the best intentions; he has no agenda except to see me shine as bright as I can shine, and that's what I have for him, too, so I always want his opinion."
Throughout their co-parenting journey, Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Lopez have worked together to benefit their children. According to an insider, they have strived to keep a mature relationship, including John Miller - Garner's boyfriend, whom she has seen on and off since 2018.
It's clear that the two men, Affleck and Miller, have developed a strong connection with one another.
The source reported they have "mutual respect," and their interactions are always very amicable. They're described as both being very approachable people.
