Jessie J opened up about the "worst gig" of her career and the injuries she sustained because of it.

On Saturday, December 16, Jessie J took to Instagram to share her experience following her recent performance. She uploaded a photo of herself with her baby, Sky, who she called "the best part of the night."

What Happened to Jessie J?

The photo included the text in which Jessie J detailed what exactly happened to her.

"Just got off stage from my last gig of the year. It was a private gig," she said. "Some moments of it were the best gig ever (on stage) and some were truly the worst (off stage) not including falling down the stairs coming off the stage."

The "Price Tag" songstress said she sprained her wrist and broken a toe after the fall, and she asked everyone who has a video of the incident to tag her in order to see what exactly she got herself involved with.

Jessie J shares her son with Chanan Colman, a professional basketballer from Denmark who plays for the Israeli National League. The pair started dating in 2022 but kept their relationship private.

She previously dated Channing Tatum and Max Pham.

Jessie J Left Republic Records

After 17 years with Republic Records, Jessie J announced her departure from the label and disclosed that she would release her next project independently. She was reportedly six months pregnant when she made the decision.

"I just feel so grateful that I've got to experience being signed to the best record label in the world.... But I have to just be honest with who I am and what I want from my career now," she continued.

Jessie J joked about being unemployed after the move before clarifying that no negative or dramatic thing happened that led to her departure.

In addition, she revealed she was diagnosed with the vertigo-inducing disorder Ménière's disease in 2021. She also suffered a miscarriage later that year.

"I am now in the process of doing all the legalities and sorting out the music so I can put out new music and do it my way. On my time, on my terms and do it independently," she went on. "Now that I've had a baby there is just no stopping me. Something happens when you have a baby and just start giving zero f-ks... There's nothing but good vibes on this."
