KPOP girl group BLACKPINK kept fans at the edge of their seats for months when the four members-Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose-could not come to an agreement with their label YG Entertainment over the renewal of their contracts.

Jennie has finally broken her silence after the arduous and murky negotiations by revealing what she looks forward to the most now that BLACKPINK is back and ready to take over the KPOP scene once again.

"To all our BLINKs, we love you and are so grateful for your unconditional support," the South Korean artist said, addressing the group's fanbase.

"You inspire us to be better every day, and we promise to keep bringing you music and performances that light up your world. Stay tuned, as we have so much more to share with you!"

BLACKPINK Finalizes Contract Renewal

According to reports, the KPOP girl group's contract with Yg Entertainment expired last August, while they were finishing up their highly successful world tour, "Born Pink" tour.

It was not until early December did the KPOP idols finalized their contract with their label, however, between those months, fans were left wondering whether BLACKPINK would be disbanding.

Fans were not the only stakeholders who were left to wonder, because YG Entertainment's stocks in South Korea dropped dramatically after it was revealed that some of the members were unsatisfied with the contracts YG Entertainment offered them.
