Stevie Nicks shared her thoughts on "Daisy Jones & The Six," a book-turned-series adaptation that was inspired by her love story with Fleetwood Mac bandmate Lindsey Buckingham.

"Stevie Nicks reached out personally, which to me, is [like] I've won already," Sam Claflin, who portrayed Billy Dunne in the series, told E! News on the red carpet of the Golden Globes last Jan. 7.

"I don't care about winning tonight. I feel like that recognition, to me, means the world."

According to the actor, the "Edge of Seventeen" singer praised him and described his performance as "heartbreaking."

"She sent me a bunch of flowers. I arrived to L.A. with this note. That to me is everything. So I feel very smug right now, very, very blessed."

'Daisy Jones & The Six' Inspired by Fleetwood Mac?

According to reports, "Daisy Jones & The Six" is a novel written by Taylor Jenkins Reid, who also happens to be the writer of "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo."

It is a story set in the 70s, following a fictional band named Daisy Jones & The Six. Riley Keough plays Daisy Jones, and she stars in the show alongside Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, and Josh Whitehouse.

The novel is loosely inspired by Fleetwood Mac and the recording of their album, "Rumours."

The tragic love story between Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne is also loosely inspired by Nicks and Buckingham's relationship.

Stevie Nicks Acknowledges 'Daisy Jones & The Six'

This is not the first time the singer expressed her enthusiasm towards "Daisy Jones & The Six."

Back in August 2023, she wrote on Instagram: "Just finished watching Daisy Jones + the 6 for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn't really my story, but Riley seamlessly soon became my story.

"It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story. It was very emotional for me. ... Hopefully it will continue."

According to reports, Nicks saw similarities between her life and the show as well. "It was the kind of snappy sarcasm between Daisy and Billy, who in my mind was like me and Lindsey.

"It was the back-and-forth between the two of them. It was so good. It was so real, and it was really so right on."
