Selena Gomez is taking yet another social media break just days after she became a center of controversy during this year's Golden Globes. Fans expressed their thoughts about the situation as they were confused as to why she was going to leave the internet again.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the Rare Beauty founder shared a photo of herself along with her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, wherein they could be seen playing with two children.

In the caption, the singer revealed that she wanted to shift her attention to something more important.

"I'm off social media for a while. I'm focusing on what really matters," she wrote.

The pop singer did a similar thing back in October when she dubbed the "hate, violence and terror" happening around the world, and noted that people are being tortured and killed. She also revealed that any act of hate towards any specific group was "horrific."

Online users took to X, formerly known as Twitter, where they shared their thoughts about Selena Gomez taking another break, and it seemed like many people were confused.

"Doesn't she do this a lot?" one wrote.

Another one alleged that Gomez might be the one instigating the drama surrounding her.

The recent news comes after Selena Gomez attended the Golden Globes where she was embroiled in a drama after being caught on camera speaking to Taylor Swift.

Since there is no audio of the interaction, Page Six got a lip reader expert to observe the video and find out what the pair really spoke about, and allegedly, it was about Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.

"He didn't want a picture with me. He said no," the pop star allegedly said, to which Keleigh Sperry clarified, "Timothée?"

Gomez later on nodded to confirm it and both Swift and Sperry appeared to be shocked.
