Britney Spears and Sam Asghari might be divorced but the actor is still allegedly using the big name of his ex-partner in order to have connections with Hollywood personalities; could this be true?
According to a source who spoke with the US Sun, the fitness enthusiast attended a gallery exhibition in Beverly Hills, California, last week where he bumped into none other than Brad Pitt.
The insider further noted that Asghari used the name of his ex-wife to get a picture with the A-list superstar.
"Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari was also there and went up and asked for a selfie with Brad, mentioning how much the singer loved him," the insider added.
It's unclear if Pitt is completely familiar with the fitness trainer, but there is a big possibility that he is as he was reportedly one of the producers who are planning to create a movie adaptation of Britney Spears' memoir titled "The Woman in Me."
Sam Asghari took to his official Instagram account to share the photo of them together at the Bennett Miller exhibition, and he wrote in the caption: "At the #bennettmiller @gagosian with some cool people last night. Also got alot of skin care tips from Brad Pitt."
Sam Asghari Transformation After Britney Spears Split
The recent news comes nearly a month after Sam Asghari showed off his new body and people said he was almost unrecognizable because of his weight loss.
The actor told Page Six that he had a "little transformation" that happened in a span of five months and he lost over "35 to 40 pounds."

"Sometimes when you are in a situation that you don't get to necessarily focus on yourself, it could be challenging for you to notice [your physique changes] but everybody else does," he added.
Later on, he clarified that his transformation wasn't a "revenge body," but rather a form of "self-love."

Sam Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason why their union didn't work out.
The actor took to social media to announce the separation, confirming that they're ending their relationship after being together for six years.
Asghari and Spears tied the knot in a ceremony in 2022, but the marriage only lasted for a year and two months.
