• Miley Cyrus Releases Live Version of Jeff Buckley Cover 'Lilac Wine' [LISTEN]

    When she is not creating controversy in Australia, Miley Cyrus is singing, performing and covering songs like "Lilac Wine." And we enjoy the latter more than shocking parents who were expecting a Hannah Montana show. In her live cover from a recent gig in Melbourne, Cyrus gives an impressive vocal performance on the track, which was written in the 1950s and is best known from Jeff Buckley's 1994 masterpiece "Grace." As MTV News notes, this is not the first time Cyrus has given the song a try, performing it back in 2012.

    On his Facebook account, Prince announced he will be the musical guest on the Nov. 1 episode of "Saturday Night Live," which will be hosted by comedian Chris Rock. Included in the post is a photo of Prince with his band 3rdeyegirl alongside a photo of Rock dressed as the legendary musician — which is not the first time he has used an image of a comedian dressed like him.     Though legendary singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell has retired from music, with her last album "Shine" released in 2007, Consequence of Sound reports she has announced the release of a career-spanning box set titled "Love Has Many Faces: A Quartet, a Ballet, Waiting to Be Danced." The box set collects 53 remastered tracks over four discs, personally chosen by Mitchell, and is set for release Nov. 17.

    Lupe Fiasco’s upcoming studio album "Tetsuo & Youth" has been delayed for a while — there were rumors of an August release date, which obviously did not happen — but today we learned he is not the one to blame. In an Instagram post from earlier today, Oct. 14, via radio.com, the Chicago rapper claimed his label Atlantic Records is holding back the release of "Tetsuo & Youth" until he gives them “a pop single,” and said that in the meantime he is "putting together a mini-project while they find one for me." This “mini-project” Fiasco is referring to is a new mixtape cleverly titled "Lost in the Atlantic," which he says was recorded “with a bunch of my friends to stay active and happy.”
