TufAmerica has filed a lawsuit involving Frank Ocean's Channel Orange track "Super Rich Kids" and its sample of Mary J. Blige's "Real Love," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The trouble isn't concerning the actual song in its entirety for copyright infringement, it's the fact that Mary J. Blige's sample was allegedly taken from The Honeydrippers 1973 song "Impeach the President." So it was an illegal sample of a sample. -
Feist announces small, solo The Mettle Tour for April [FULL SCHEDULE]
Done without her backing band, The Mettle Tour will feature only Leslie Feist in a series of stripped down, intimate shows. The small trek includes one Canadian date and three East Coast shows, giving a small range for fans to come and see her. -
Foo Fighters recording new LP in multiple cities with Steve Albini and Butch Vig
According to Consequence of Sound, it appears that the Foo Fighters are recording their new album in multiple studios. As the article notes, the band has yet to officially confirm the information, but Reddit points to a Facebook post that reports of new songs recorded by the Foo Fighters at Washington D.C.'s Inner Ear Studios, Chicago's Electrical Audio Studios with Steve Albini and Los Angeles' 606 Studios with Butch Vig. -

There's still no updates as to what fans can expect among the exclusives on Record Store Day 2014, but the organizers have kept the buzz going by naming Chuck D the official ambassador of Record Store Day. The title has been annually given to pro-record store performers throughout the history of the event. -
Radiohead unveils new app, PolyFauna, inspired by 'The King of Limbs'
There's something new coming out of the Radiohead camp, and it's not a new record. Today, the band unveiled PolyFauna, a new mobile app that was inspired by the 2011 King of Limbs sessions and uses sounds and imagery from the song, "Bloom." Created in collaboration with Universal Everything, Thom York explains its origins saying, "It comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious." -

Today (Feb. 11), Oberst began streaming a new single "Hundreds Of Ways" on his official YouTube account and announced a 20-city tour for late spring alongside Americana rock act Dawes. -

As noted before, it's been quite some time since rock act Tool has hit the road, and now its making up for lost time. After announcing a short tour of the West Coast and Mexico last month, the "Schism" band has now added on six additional tour dates. -

You're familiar with Book of Mormon, the hit musical from South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, which won nine Tonys and a Grammy. The production has broken plenty of records already-including 22 at its home Eugene O'Neill Theater-but its newest accomplishment takes the cake: The show's recent stay in Atlanta set the mark for the highest weekly gross ever for a touring show. -
