    Prince began his three-night stand at Mohegan Sun Arena Friday night. The 27-song set lasted two and a half hours and covered his 35-year career, according to Consequence of Sound. He was backed by a 21-piece band including members of 3rdEyeGirl and New Power Generation. The set included hits "Purple Rain" and "When Doves Cry" as well as a the 1980s B-side "She's Always in My Hair." He also played "Mutiny" from his one-off project The Family.
