    Cher has had a wildly successfully career as a television performer as well as in film and music (obviously). To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the premiere of her variety show Cher, we look back at all of the TV appearances the vocalist made as a fictional character or a fictional version of herself, not counting the several variety shows she hosted with husband Sonny Bono.

    "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence has a lot going for her these days. Aside from being one of Hollywood's biggest stars, J.Law also scored a "Billboard" Hot 100 hit this week with "The Hanging Tree" from "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1." According to "Consequence of Sound," the tune hit No. 12 on the charts with 200,000 downloads and 2.1 million streams. The song was written by "HG" scribe Suzanne Collins and adapted for the screen by Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers.Lawrence described the experience of singing on set for David Letterman recently."I do not like singing in front of other people," she said. "It's like my biggest fear. I cried on set that day. That was awful."The actress, who portrays Katniss Everdeen in the franchise, talked about the roots of the problem.

Currently women generally are earning 78 cents on the dollar to men and so it made perfect sense to ask Nadella how a woman should proceed in business in order to make money. Rather than offering wisdom that the women in attendance could put into use he seemed to be stuck in the dark ages. Not only does Nardella support starting a position at a lower pay rate but he also is against asking for a raise.

    After an illness and postponing over a dozen tour dates, pop legend Cher will be back in action next month. Today (Oct. 3), the "I Walk Alone" singer announced that she will be returning to her Dressed To Kill Tour on Nov. 9 and that she has rescheduled all of her postponed tour dates.

    A couple of months ago, Lady Gaga performed alongside Tony Bennett at New York City’s Lincoln Center as part of the celebration of their jazz album Cheek to Cheek’s release. During the performance, the “Do What U Want” singer took a minute to morph into another iconic pop star, Cher, for a cover of “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down).
