Luckily, her husband, Vince Van Patten has confirmed that she'll be back for another season on the reality show.

Glanville has found herself in the middle because she has opted to support Kim no matter what. Newcomer, Eileen Davidson, recently weighed in on all of the crazy that occurred during the party where the ladies clashed, calling Glanville more a "mafia enforcer" than a friend.

Rinna was in on the action with the rest of the cast right from the season premiere, but it waited until the third episode for Davidson's debut. While nothing too traumatic went down last night, Dec. 2, between Davidson and anyone else, we already know from the trailer that she and Rinna have at least one glass-throwing incident and they are not exactly the best of friends at all. They crossed paths years ago on "Days of Our Lives" and clearly never gelled. It is pretty obvious already that Bravo is expecting Davidson to cause some friction among the ladies, and that seems to be a role she is already comfortable playing.

Season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premiered last week and the numbers look really good. 2 million households tuned in to catch up with the ladies and that is a 25% ratings increase over last season. While series regulars Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, Kyle Richards and Kim Richards all returned it was likely the newcomers that helped to give those numbers a boost.

    When "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returns to Bravo this evening for its fifth season, there will be two new faces joining the cast that will be quite familiar to many viewers. Obviously, Bravo is hoping this will translate into fantastic ratings right out of the gate, and it probably has every reason to believe that that can happen. Rinna left "Days of Our Lives" back in the 1990s to hop over to a plumb role on the original "Melrose Place" and, according to an interview with E!, being on "RHOBH" feels similar to that gig. "This is very close to doing "Melrose Place" without a script in your hand. Like everything in life, it's all about timing. It's funny, when I went on to "Melrose Place" it was Year 5. This is Year 5 of "Housewives" ... To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it's been a really great gig for me. It felt right, to be honest with you ... and I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure."

  • Kristian Alfonso Throws Shade at Notion of Peter Reckell Returning to 'Days of Our Lives'

    Way back in the 1980s, soap operas were filled with supercouples, with one of the biggest being "Days of our Lives's" Bo and Hope Brady, played by Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso. The two quickly garnered a huge fan base that, even to this day, still rallies for them to reunite. Reckell and Alfonso returned to "Days" in the '90s and had an intertwined storyline until his character was sent packing a few years ago. Reckell has said he understood that his departure was basically making room for younger leading men and that it goes with the territory. But he has never agreed with how his character left town and believes the fans deserved better than what they got. In October, a series of tweets by Reckell led fans to think there was the possibility of him returning to "Days." He later admitted that he did make some calls to producers because he believed there was a logical reason to bring him back onto the canvas. In a recent interview, Alfonso could not have agreed any less and thought that bringing the character of Bo back just to allow Hope to move on was ridiculous.

    Soap vet Eileen Davidson is one of the busiest women working in daytime television. She is currently starring on "The Young and the Restless" as Ashley Abbott, a character she created back in the 1980s. She is also filming for the upcoming season of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and later this week she will end her run on "Days of Our Lives" as the mischievous Kristen DiMera. Davidson had signed on to bring DiMera back to Salem for a quick three-month run and her storyline will wrap up Nov. 6 just in time for her debut on Bravo.
