The University of Alabama and University of Oregon held tight to their top spots in the bracket of four, Florida State slid up one spot after a close game with Georgia Tech and Ohio State jumped into the last available spot with a crushing victory over Wisconsin. Luke Bryan suffered a tough loss last week after his brother-in-law passed away at the age of 46. Ben Lee Cheshire was married to Bryan's cousin Kelly, who died in 2007. The country community gathered Tuesday night (Dec. 2) for the CMT Artists of the Year ceremony to honor this year's biggest stars, but Bryan was home in Georgia with his family. Honorees Jason Aldean and Keith Urban mentioned Bryan throughout the ceremony, and Lady Antebellum played a touching tribute for the grieving superstar with his hit "Drink a Beer." -

The biggest party night of the year just got a little bit better. Watching the ball drop on New Year's Eve in Times Square is one of the most iconic images from the changing of the calendar, and people fly in from all over the world to stand shoulder to shoulder in the frigid cold for hours just to be a part of it. According to "Billboard," Menzel will predictably sing "Let It Go," while Florida Georgia Line will perform a medley of tunes including "Cruise," "This Is How We Roll" and "Sun Daze," while MAGIC! will unleash smash single "Rude" and "Let Your Hair Down" on the Times Square crowd. -

Though there's no word yet as to the album's title or release date, Bryan says the songwriting process has begun and he will be entering the studio very soon.
