• Justin Bieber Hints at New Album Coming in 2015

    When caught up in his seemingly endless supply of scandals and lawsuits, it's easy to forget that Justin Bieber is, first and foremost, a musician, and over the last few days, the 20-year-old singer has dropped some hints that new music will soon be on the way. On his Twitter account yesterday (Dec. 29), Bieber responded to MTV's pleas for a new album in 2015 with a simple "no problem."

  • Tyga Reveals New Release Date For 'The Gold Album'

    The latest rapper to have his album release date pushed back is Tyga, whose upcoming album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty was most recently set for release today, Dec. 23, though that obviously hasn't happened (it was originally set for Nov. 18). Instead of dropping the album today, however, Tyga took to his Twitter account to announce that the album has been made available for pre-order, and revealed its actual release date: Jan. 27. According to "Forbes," Bieber is the highest earning entertainer under 30 for 2014, bringing in $80 million "thanks mostly to cash from the tail end of his last world tour."At 20, Bieber is also the youngest person on the list.Coming in at second place is One Direction, who have collectively brought in $75 million, while the queen of New York City Taylor Swift comes in third with $64 million — it helps that she released the only platinum album of 2014.Of the 10 entries on the list, nine are musicians, with the sole exception being Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence, who comes in at seventh place with $34 million.

They were seen publicly at Coachella in April, and over the summer Perry went to Jamaica with the EDM artist to work on new, reggae-infused music."The funniest moment was having Katy Perry in the studio singing 'woke up this morning feeling so blessed' and writing a whole song to the Rootsman Riddim while Jesse did the dub for 'Modern Day Judas,'" Walshy Fire, who was also in the studio with the pair, said. "Watching her catch that reggae vibe was the best part of recording."Diplo has been caught up in a social media scuffle lately with Taylor Swift and Lorde. A few days ago, the producer tweeted, "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty." The campaign has not even raised $100 yet.
