    Electronic music fans have a dizzying number of options for their festival of choice this Memorial Day Weekend. East coasters will be able to attend any one of the numerous festivals up and down the coast including Electric Daisy Carnival New York, Mysteryland USA and Sunset Music Festival. Now Insomniac will bookend their Memorial Day Festival options on the West coast with Audio On The Bay. The festival has announced its 2015 lineup that is headlined by Martin Garrix, Laidback Luke and Knife Party.

  • Mysteryland 2015 Lineup Phase 2 Announced

    Holland's longest running electronic music festival, Mysteryland, has announced the second phase of artists who will join the festival at the end of August. Among those new acts that are set to perform are Dutch festival favorites, Laidback Luke and R3hab, Italian techno DJ Joseph Capriati, Swedish DJ AN21 and others. In addition to the newly added names, Mysteryland has unveiled the day-by-day stage lineups for Saturday and Sunday.

    Laidback Luke's record label, Mixmash Records, has been rocked with a scandal regarding promotion surrounding the latest release, 'Laidback Luke & Tujamo S.A.X.' The largest portal for electronic music, Beatport, removed the song from its store temporarily and re-added it shortly thereafter once the service deemed that Mixmash Records had violated Beatport's policies regarding chart eligibility. Mixmash Records has responded to the allegations of impropriety and denies any wrongdoing but the damage has been done.

    Hard Events's Holy Ship! has become one dance music's premiere destinations for fans who want to party out at sea with their favorite DJs. Entering its fourth year, the dance cruise just completed its first journey from Miami with Djs like A-Trak, Pretty Lights, Laidback Luke, Flume, Duke Dumont, Rl Grime, Gorgon City and others were brought along for the four-day voyage. 2015 saw the cruise expand to two seafaring expeditions out of Miami, but according to an interview by Revolt with Gary Richards, the founder of Hard Events, which hosts Holy Ship!, the promoter has their sites on another market, Europe, specifically the Mediterranean.
