    Ted Cruz became the first of many Republican believed to be in pursuit of the White House during 2016, as he formally announced his name as a runner for the GOP nomination for the presidency. Scott Walker, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and several more right-leaning individuals will probably follow his lead soon enough. Let's focus on Cruz however. Admittedly, there's not much for a music site to say; he doesn't exactly play bass like former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. However, Music Times was able to hunt down five instances where Ted Cruz became a musical figure.

WiLL's EarDrummer label protégés Rae Sremmurd joined Future their SremmLife track "Throw Sum Mo," with Cyrus rapping along to Nicki Minaj's verse. Riff Raff and Two-9 also made appearances, Rolling Stone reports.

    Miley Cyrus' infamous "Wrecking Ball" video has been brought to life (sort of) thanks to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. The museum unveiled a wax version of Cyrus suspended from a 90-ton crane in front of the Venetian on Monday. The Bangerz singer is displayed swinging from an wrecking ball (combined weighing 200 pounds) at the end of a 30-foot chain. This time around she is clothed, with the top of her head to the bottom of the wrecking ball standing higher than 10 feet. The wax figure will permanently go on display in the Vegas museum's Music Room.
