Jennifer Lopez wants what is possibly her last album, "This Is Me...Now," to be her biggest and grandest project yet, so she decided to bring several high-profile celebrities to cameo for her musical film.

"They were giving me a list of all these amazing people, and I was like, 'Yes, I like all of those people, but that's not what I want,'" Lopez told Entertainment Weekly.

The star-studded cast of the singer slash actress' most recent release includes her husband, Ben Affleck, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Jane Fonda, Fat Joe, Sofia Vergara, Kim Petras, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Derek Heigh, Paul Raci, Trevor Jackson, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and more.

My first people were Jenifer Lewis and Jane Fonda, and they were like, 'Wait, we don't get it. This is like music. This is young.'

"And I was like, 'No. This is a council of people who I want to be very diverse. I want all different kinds of people.," she added, referring to one scene in her film that featured a council of "gods."

However, according to the report, several other stars were invited but refused her offer: Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Snoop Snoop Dogg, Lizzo, Jennifer Coolidge, Khloe Kardashian, and Vanessa Hudgens.

Jennifer Lopez Hints at Music Retirement

Prior to the release of her musical film, album, and documentary, the "On the Floor" hitmaker hinted that "This is Me... Now" "might be [her] last album ever."

"The truth is I don't even know if I'll ever make another album after this. It's such the kind of quintessential kind of Jennifer Lopez J.Lo project and I really feel very fulfilled, so they really will be collector's items at a certain point," she revealed.

Elsewhere in the interview, she explained how she poured her everything into the project: "I feel like it's the end of a kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new one, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart and soul into this and I'm very excited and it definitely took a lot out of me."
