If his EDM career ever falls through, it looks like Deadmau5 has a solid backup career as an Uber driver.

Earlier this week, Deadmau5 (Joel Thomas Zimmerman) tweeted about how he would be driving for Uber in Toronto. It wasn't a hoax — riders lucky enough to cruise in the artist's McLaren 650S posted pictures to Twitter and shared Vines of the beautiful automobile. Now, Uber has released some footage from the evening and Deadmau5 appears to be an engaging driver. The musician cracked a few jokes, made some light conversation and even sped a little bit to impress one of the riders. He's also extremely blown away by Burger King's acquisition of Canadian doughnut chain Tim Hortons (see 1:08 in the video below). One rider even asks about the artist's cat and finds out that Deadmau5 doesn't have any kittens, yet.

Currently, Deadmau5 is in a legal battle with Disney over the trademark of his signature mouse helmet. The artist fired back with a cease-and-desist order over the company's use of one of his songs.

"The music was appropriately licensed, and there is no merit to his statement. Disney vigorously protects its trademark rights, and we oppose Mr. Zimmerman's attempt to register a logo that is nearly identical to our trademarks for his commercial exploitation," a representative for Disney said in a statement. "Our opposition is not about the use of the Deadmau5 costume."

With both sides seeming reluctant to budge, the outcome will definitely be an interesting one. Stick with Music Times for more updates.
