Jake Kiszka has been a guitarist for Greta Van Fleet for years, and he's expanding his musical talent after establishing a new band called Mirador. Fans were shocked to hear the news, especially since he now sings in his new group.

According to Loudwire, the musician formed the group with Chris Turpin, popularly known for being one of the two members of Ida Mae.

Taking to their social media account, the band has been teasing fans about their project and announcing that they would open for Greta Van Fleet, which means Kiszka would play for two bands throughout his original group's tour.

"We are happy to announce that Mirador Band, a new collective consisting of our very own Jake Kiszka and Chris Turpin, will commence the show on the imminent spring Starcatcher World Tour dates," Greta Van Fleet announced.

In a new social media post, Mirador revealed that they performed in front of a live audience for the first time and were grateful for the support of their fans.

Fans immediately took to the comment section of their Instagram post to share their reactions to Jake Kiszka singing for his new band, as they were used to seeing him play the guitar.

"Thank you, Jake, for being brave enough to share your beautiful voice with us," one commented.

As of this writing, the band has yet to release songs on streaming platforms and has not revealed the official release date of their first single.

Greta Van Fleet Tour 2024

In other updates, fans should expect Mirador to be the supporting act for Greta Van Fleet's shows on their spring tour in 2024.

They kicked off their shows at the Chaifetz Arena on April 27, 2024, and they are set to perform in various cities in North America, including Kansas City, Austin, Huntsville, Duluth, Pittsburgh, and more.

Their last show is on May 21, 2024, at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI.

Aside from Jake Kiszka's new band, Geese will also be an opener throughout their shows.
