After her promise to expose her "ex-best friend" Ice Spice, the singer and content creator Baby Storme published a screen recording of her alleged conversation with the young rapper.

In the alleged exchange, the "In Ha Mood" rapper reportedly referred to Nicki Minaj as "ungrateful and delusional" following a disagreement over certain business matters.

Baby Storme Exposes Ice Spice's Alleged Comments About Nicki Minaj

In the leaked back-and-forth messages, Baby Storme, or Janice Mofus, can be seen inquiring about a reported "call" between Ice Spice and Minaj.

Ice Spice characterized the call as "pen-ended," mentioning insights purportedly relayed by James, presumably her manager James Rosemond. According to Ice Spice, Minaj's old manager of 11 years expressed dissatisfaction, alleging that Minaj was 'being unfair' by making excessive demands.

Ice Spice further asserted that these sentiments echoed widespread perceptions of Minaj's negotiating style, emphasizing communication challenges due to Minaj's alleged reluctance to listen.

Storme pressed Ice Spice on whether Minaj was aware of her alleged demands being excessive, to which Ice Spice affirmed that Minaj seemed oblivious to the issue."

Ice Spice Alleged She Brought Nicki Minaj to the 'Barbie' Soundtrack

When Baby Storme asked about the possibility of reaching a compromise, Ice Spice expressed optimism, stating her hopefulness in resolving the matter, especially with their upcoming record slated for release in June as part of the Barbie soundtrack.

But she quickly went into a rant of how she was the one who brought the opportunity to Minaj in the first place.

"[The song] is an opportunity I brought [to Minaj because the] Barbie [producers] invited me to do it alone, but since that's her brand, I invited her on, and she doesn't even see that as me bringing her something," Ice Spice reportedly wrote, in the said leaked conversation.

Ice Spice then also said that "She's kinda like my mom: ungrateful and delusional. I cut her off by the way. [I'm] not speaking to her 'til January."

Based on Ice Spice's message about the Barbie record, it could be suggested that the conversation took place months before "Barbie World" dropped in June 2024.

In a 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Barbie soundtrack producer Kevin Weaver revealed that from the very beginning of the soundtrack's development, they wanted Minaj to be a part of it.

"We went to Greta and asked Greta if she would write a letter to Nicki, and Greta wrote this beautiful note to Nicki and basically said like, 'You are Queen Barb and when I set out to make this film, as I was thinking of artists, you were the first artist that really came to me as somebody that I felt was going to be an important collaborator and contributor to this,'" Weaver recalled. "I sent that letter to Nicki and the next morning Nicki hit us back and said that she was 100 percent in."

Barbie soundtrack producer Mark Ronson also told Billboard that one of his main goals was to land Minaj on the soundtrack.

"I was like, 'I don't know how we have a Barbie soundtrack without Nicki Minaj on it?'" Ronson said. "How do you not have the person who's kept the word 'Barbie' alive in music culture the past 15 years?"
