Ice Spice is known for her iconic red locks, distinctive voice and fun lyricism. She's also known for a bit of a grosser habit: rapping about poop.

In January, the Bronx native released a single titled "Think U the Sh- (Fart)," in which she raps: "You think you the sh-- bitch?/You not even the fart/I be goin' hard/I'm breakin' they hearts." The track peaked at 37 on the Billboard charts, giving Ice Spice her highest charting solo-single to date.

In another single, "Deli," she raps, "I'm the sh--, I'm that bitch, I'm Miss Poopie," once again returning the focus to feces.

Most recently, Ice Spice took to X, formerly Twitter, to post a snippet of a new, unreleased song. In the video, the rapper flexes her massive chain while rapping along to her own music blaring over the loudspeaker. The video's audio is crackly and distorted, but we can hear Ice Spice as she raps:

"Big knock, like I'm not a fighter/ Big Ice, I don't need a writer/ Her man callin' me baby/ I'm Ms. Poopie like I need a diaper."

One fan decided that it was time for listeners to get a proper answer from Ice Spice, née Isis Gaston.

User @gwenisonline quote-tweeted the rapper's video with a question, writing "atp we gotta ask if she got a scat fetish cuz what is with the poop, diaper, and fart bars pls."

"I got a SH--IN on b!tches fetish," replied Ice Spice in a quote tweet of her own. She attached a laughing emoji onto the end of the message, keeping things light-hearted.

Netizens had mixed responses. One X user said, "Girl..." One responded, "This some cray sh-" while another simply wrote, "bruh."

Rapper 21 Savage also faced questions surrounding the number of poop and fart references on his recent album, American Dream.

"What you smokin'?/Uncle Snoop/It smell like gas/ I think somebody pooped," raps 21 Savage on the song, "pop ur sh--" featuring Young Thug. The "it" in question is high quality marijuana. He also drops the line, "Think about the hoes that I sh-- on while I piss."

Hopefully, the bathroom will soon take a step out of the rap game.

Ice Spice is currently gearing up for the release of her debut studio album, Y2K. The rapper was born on January 1, 2000, making her about as Y2K as it gets.

New Yorkers spotted a giant inflatable version of the "In Ha Mood" rapper traveling around the city earlier this month. The blow-up Ice Spice rested on the back of a flatbed truck. The bizarre public art display served as promotional material for the 2024 spring/summer collection from Alexander Wang. The rapper and designer partnered up for an exciting visual campaign.

Ice Spice is also set to star in High and Low, a remake of Akira Kurosawa's film of the same name, directed by Spike Lee and starring Denzel Washington and Jeffrey Wright. This will be her debut acting appearance.
