Stevie Nicks' new album, the retrospective and re-recorded collection 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault still is six days away from its official release date, but the full album can be streamed in full now.
Today (Oct. 1), 24 Karat Gold was made available for preview listening via Amazon in anticipation of the Oct. 7 release date.
The album is made up completely of newly recorded material that previously sat unfinished or unrecorded in Nicks' personal archive. Comprised of songs from a three decade span, 24 Karat Gold is simultaneously a new release and a look back at Nicks' expansive career as both a solo artist and member of the influential rock band Fleetwood Mac.
"Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a story," Nicks said in a statement when announcing the album. "They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken hearted and the survivors. These songs are the memories -- the 24 karat gold rings in the blue box."
Previously teased by the poignant and beautiful tracks "The Dealer" and "Lady," 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault is now available in its entirety.
