With the line, "Never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch," Sugarland's Kristian Bush reminds us that we can't take it with us when we go. And what better way to show that truth than with a bar full of zombies?

Bush told CMT's Hot 20 Countdown that the whole song was built aroudn the line, "I've never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch." He called it "kinda funny" and "also kinda true." "You can't take it with you when you go," he continued. "So that lyric was the beginning of it, and then we just kinda built it backward. It has a great groove on it, and it has this really cool message."

While the message is true, it is also a sad commentary on life in our world where "everybody wanna die rich," and Kristian didn't want the tune to have a depressing feel at all. What better way to not be sad than by bringing in zombies that are only soothed by music? (Music by Kristian Bush of course!) "I don't know if you know this, but there's a zombie apocalypse, and the only thing that can save us, apparently, is my guitar and the backbeat of this song, 'Trailer Hitch,'" Bush joked with CMT.

Then the Grammy-award winning artist turned serious. He knows that with a new solo career, he's no longer a household name like Sugarland was. He's the new guy and that means starting from the bottom. But being that guy comes with its own perks as well as challenges. "I'm back to the while-you-get-your-beer-act instead of the headliner, so it starts over again, and I love that energy. That's the energy of something new, and I watch people as they look at me stubbornly not giving up on my dream, and then they start to cheer. And then they start to not give up on their dreams, and that's cool."

Fans can check Bush out on the road between now and early December. And if the guy or gal next to you at the show looks like a zombie, don't worry - Kristian has that covered!
