Chris Brown is one of pop's most opinionated figures, and that reputation held up when he praised ebola for its "population control" earlier this month.

The dude just loves to sound off, and he was at it again on Ebro In The Morning today (Oct. 31).

"I think my demons as of right now are being afraid of failure," he said. "I think my only demon is the doubt in myself sometimes. But I think that also makes me great at the same time."

He also talked about his relationship with pop star Rihanna, which took an ugly turn in 2009 when Brown physically assaulted her.

"I don't have animosity about it," he said. "Obviously I have remorse about it and it's something that's really serious. But as far as the situation, me and her, we made amends. We good. She my friend. I knew that was a mistake that I will never make again, but I take in consideration like, 'Dang. I was 17, 18.' I'm 25 now, so I look back at it like, 'Dang.' And I'm still doing community service and going to see the judge every month and a half."

Brown addressed the couple's attempts to salvage the relationship post-abuse.

"I just wanted to make sure that [the love] was still there," he said. "I wanted to make amends to her, showing I could be the man that she [wanted me] to be."

The 25-year-old is now dating Karreuche Tran.

"She's straight, man," he said. "I dig her. She's dope. Being in this industry, you just need somebody that understands you and understands who you are personally [aside] from your name. At the end of the day, me and her have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy."

Earlier in October, he was in hot water after an ebola-related tweet: I don't know ... But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S--- is getting crazy bruh.

As our own Erika Benton-Martin previously noted, some of his millions of followers called him an "idiot" or "stupid" upon reading the tweet. Others went as far as to suggest he "should try it." Aside from the backlash, some just laughed it off and told the 25-year-old singer to "go to bed."
