Taylor Swift isn't just slaying record sales in 2014 and this week, she's also dominating the singles market. Following the epic, one million plus sales of her new album 1989, the album's lead single "Shake It Off" is also topping the charts.

"Shake It Off" returns for its third week atop of the Hot 100 Singles Chart after eight weeks of domination from Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass," according to Billboard.

The hype surrounding 1989 and a seeming sickness of "All About That Bass" helped to contribute to Swift's returning reign to the top of the charts.

"Shake It Off" gained one percent of chart points, while "All About That Bass" fell by 9 percent. Swift's digital downloads crashed this week as people effectively returned "Shake It Off" the single to completely download 1989, but the track led radio with 136 million audience impressions and the track held steady with streams at No. 2 and 10.8 million plays.

Meanwhile, Trainor left the No. 1 spot after eight weeks. Despite topping the streaming charts with 11.9 million plays, Trainor still received 10 percent less plays than last week. She also stumbled from the peak of the Digital Downloads chart, coming in at No. 2 with 133,000 copies of "All About That Bass" sold.

It may be too soon to say, but it seems as though the autumn of basses is over - though it has been a good two month ride.

Though Taylor Swift shook off the competition at the very tippy top of the Hot 100, a large amount of the chart stayed with familiar pop fare.

Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)" held at No. 3 after jumping up three spots last week, putting the new pop star above cuts from Maroon 5, Jessie J, and Iggy Azalea whose respective songs "Animals," "Bang Bang" and "Black Widow" sit at Nos. 4, 5 and 6.

Further down in the top 10, Jeremih's "Don't Tell Em" and Bobby Shmurda's "Hot Boy" keep steady for the rap game at Nos. 7 and 8, the same spots the tracks held last week.

Beneath the banging rap hits, the tender side of pop fills out the top 10, with Ed Sheeran's "Don't" returning to the top 10 at No. 9 and Hozier rounding things out at No. 10.
