If you are a fan of VH1's Hollywood Exes, then you are already familiar with Sheree Fletcher. She was married to Will Smith from 1992-95 and they share a grown son, Trey. When the reality show first premiered a few years ago, Fletcher was happily married to Terrell Fletcher, a former NFL San Diego Chargers running-back-turned-pastor. This past season, there seemed to be a shift in their relationship, and it has now been confirmed that Sheree has indeed filed for divorce after seven years of marriage to Terrell.

According to TMZthe couple actually separated last July, and in the most recent scenes of Hollywood Exes it seemed like there was a chance that a split was coming. It was never exactly said on camera, but Sheree had stepped down from her official duties in Terrell's church and seemed to be moving away from her life with him rather than embracing it.

Court documents filed in Los Angeles indicate that Sheree is looking for spousal support, which is interesting since they have no children together, and she is a successful business woman. In fact, babies did seem to be a tough topic for the two. As her son Trey was getting older, Sheree had said she struggled with being with someone who had no interest in fatherhood at this point in his life.

Do you think children became a big issue that ultimately divided these two, or did it have more to do with her walking away from her church responsibilities? At the time that clearly did not sit well with Terrell.

Are you surprised to see these two filing for divorce? Do you think it will get messy and that Terrell will challenge Sheree's demands? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
