Fans of daytime television's Eileen Davidson will get to see her in primetime on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beginning on Nov. 18. Rumor has it that filming the reality show has been quite a ride for the actress. After spending more than 30 years on soaps like The Young & the Restless and Days of our Lives this is the first time that her legion of fans will get to see her in action as herself. Up until this week, Davidson hadn't even confirmed that she was actually a new member of the RHOBH's cast.

Yesterday, Bravo's The Dish ran part of an interview with Davidson in connection with the premiere of the official preview clip for Season 5 of the show. "It's so surreal. But also very exciting and a little nerve wracking. I'm used to scripts when I'm being filmed so this has been a new experience! It's like being on a roller coaster, and you can all take the ride with me!" Davidson said.

Check out the preview clip for season 5 of RHOBH below. There have been rumors of violent clashes between the cast members and from the looks of things here it could be true. Davidson and fellow soap alumni, Lisa Rinna were both reportedly hired by Bravo to bring a nice big fan base with them right off the bat. Bravo is banking on the notion that soap fans will naturally follow these two stars over to the Housewives franchise. Do you think that they're right? Will the fifth season premiere with great ratings? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
