If you're having a slow Monday before the big Thanksgiving holiday like the rest of us, worry not. The Decemberists are here to "Make You Better." With the help of Parks & Recreation funnyman Nick Offerman, "Colon Meloy," "Chris Funky" and company appeared on the faux-German low budget talk show "The Old Blue Palace Rock Show" for the lead What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World clip.

The music video, which was also directed by Offerman, opens with an interview between Offerman's German talk show host and The Decemberists' frontman Colin Meloy, wherein the two cannot agree on the title of the new Decemberists single. "You say bread and better?" Offerman queries, before the shift is focused to a love story.

Yes, there's some unrequited feelings happening between the talk show host and his gorgeous blonde PA, but he just can't find the words.

The song itself comes in through a live performance, with Meloy and guitarist Chris Funk mislabeled and the show eventually falling into chaos.

All the while Offerman is dreaming of his blonde love, thinking of the courage to ask her out... but in reality, he can only squeak out a small sentence.
