No one knows exactly what the exchange between Jay Z and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones consisted of during last night's New York Giants game, but there's a good chance it had something to do with Dez Bryant. Hov signed the wide receiver to his Roc Nation Sports company earlier this month, and since the NFL star has a contract renegotiation coming up, the two have plenty to discuss.

According to XXL, Jones had nothing but nice things to say about the rapper. "Yeah, I was working on a halftime deal with him for Thanksgiving," he joked. "No it's good. He had just been to the stadium and entertained there. He's outstanding."

Jones had tried to persuade Bryant not to sign with the Roc Nation company, which reps Geno Smith, CC Sabathia and Kevin Durant, but the wideout went anyway. CBS Sports reported that Jones would be "reluctant" to talk contract specifics with Jay Z's company.

Roc Nation Sports opened its doors in 2013, attracting baseball superstar Robinson Cano as its first client. Detroit Lions defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh, joined the company before Bryant.

"Founder Shawn 'JAY Z' Carter's love of sports lead to the natural formation of Roc Nations Sports, helping athletes in the same way Roc Nation has been helping artists in the music industry for years," the company's website reads. "Roc Nation Sports focuses on elevating athletes' career on a global scale both on and off the field. Roc Nation Sports conceptualizes and executes marketing and endorsement deals, community outreach, charitable tie-ins, media relations and brand strategy."

Jay Z was recently featured on the Rick Ross track "Movin' Bass" from Hood Billionaire. An HBO special documenting the Sept. 12 and 13 performances of Jay-Z and Beyonce's On the Run tour premiered in later that month.
