Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice contributed a truckload of tunes for the 2015 music-centric film Song One, which stars Anne Hathaway and Johnny Flynn.

Here's the rundown from IMDB: A young archaeologist returns home from a dig in order to see her injured brother, and soon she strikes up a relationship with his favorite musician.

From what we can tell by the official trailer, Hathaway plays the architect, while Flynn (Lotus Eaters, Something in the Air) plays the musician. They develop a serious romance during Act II, and then Act III revolves around Flynn deciding whether to head back to his homeland or stay with Hathaway.

The flick is out January 23, and the official soundtrack tracklist (featuring several compositions from Lewis and Rice) was dropped this weekend.

Jenny Lewis recently disclosed an odd encouter with Ryan Lewis (no relation) in which the latter Lewis forced the former Lewis to listen to Creed.

"He really helped me and he really got me out of my own head," Jenny said. "He sat me down midday and he said, 'Lewis, I have something I want you to hear.' And he just started blasting Creed. After one song and my kind of started bleeding and I was like, 'What is this method?' And I'm still not sure I totally get it."

No word yet on whether Johnathan Rice recommended a Nickelback appreciation session while writing for Song One.
