Garth Brooks's never-ending comeback tour will be heading north after four January nights in Boston. The legendary country artist recently announced two Buffalo dates — four total shows — March 6 and 7, which should provide plenty of time for all that damn snow to melt.

According to WIVB, the shows will be Brooks's first Buffalo appearances in 17 years.

From The Boot: "Tickets will cost $56.97, plus $1.28 in tax, a $2.50 facility fee and a $5.50 service charge, for a total of $66.25. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 5 at 10 AM, and there will be an eight-ticket limit per purchase. Tickets will be available through Tickets.com or 1-800-228-6622."

Besides the tour, Garth has been busy in recent weeks. He called YouTube the devil, brought Ellen DeGeneres to tears and offered some career advice to up-and-coming country artists.

"Scotty McCreery was at the show last night," Brooks said last weekend. "He's in that wonderful stage where you're out there, you know, banging it out from club to club. I told him, 'Bro, you don't have a clue yet that those are the greatest times, right there.'

"It's starting out. It's doing your thing. And I got to tell you, it might be rough right now, but those are going to be the best memories in your life. For those people who dream, this is getting to live it, and I never take it for granted. It's fun. Everything's new again, which is fantastic, and the shows are kind of reflecting that."
