Spontaneous pairings seem to be coming back in vogue in dance music. Skrillex and Diplo have started touring and releasing music as Jack U. Dillon Francis and Flosstradomus, though not an official duo, have been billed on festival lineups together as Dillstradomus. The legendary duo of Sharam and Dubfire got the band back together in 2014 to reform Deep Dish after an eight-year hiatus focusing on their own solo careers.

Now a new pairing has been announced and will be hitting the road together. Dirtybird Records don Claude von Stroke and Green Velvet have formed the new duo Get Real and will be taking their act on the road for three special shows to close out the year, via Dancing Astronaut.

Though neither has explicitly explained what Get Real means, it can be implied that they will be playing "real" house music far removed from the main stages at festivals and better suited for dark nightclubs.

The two DJs have played together on a few occasions, including a special back-to-back set at Spring Awakening in Chicago this past June and a surprise set during Miami Music Week this year, as Mixmag points out. Green Velvet has been on the lineup for several Dirtybird events as well, which include an appearance from Green Velvet's other moniker Cajmere at Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird BBQ during Hard Day of the Dead.

They will now be taking their act on the road for three dates to finish out the year in Detroit, Los Angeles and Chicago. Read the announcement below from Claude VonStroke's Facebook page, which includes the tour dates and ticket links to see them live.
