As Parks and Recreation's resident badass, Ron Swanson, Nick Offerman brings a whole new meaning to manhood. His character hates the government, crafts masterpieces out of wood, and is a big fan of whiskey. Although Offerman isn't a complete carbon copy of Ron (I'm guessing Swanson would have a problem with someone who chose acting as a career), he is actually an accomplished woodworker. He also loves whiskey, which he explains in his May Tales of Whisky video.

Offerman, also a musician, sings and plays guitar in the hilarious video below, via Elite Daily. The actor strums over some very fitting bagpipes before launching into a tribute of the dark spirit.

"My life holds just two loves so true," he sings. "But combined, they put me in a stew / See, my first love is whiskey in a jar / And the second, this six-string guitar."

At the heart of the song is actually a great message: Don't mix work with whiskey.

"I adore working wood in my shop / But my fingers I'd rather not chop / So I make sure the tools are turned off / Before I knock back my first quaff."

Offerman also advises not to try drinking whiskey while playing guitar or riding a horse (his is named Flowers). Do those things first, then have a glass.

"Don't dally with your whiskey glass / For its true rewards can't be surpassed / Sonny, don't hesitate, raise a glass with your mate / Or if you're lucky, a glass with your lass."

NBC also recently announced that Parks and Rec will return for its final season in January.
