The Sony email leaks have given everyday people a look inside what's really going on in the entertainment industry. Earlier today we found out that Kanye West is reportedly shopping around a new film and starring in another with Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Now a few more music-related emails have emerged, mentioning a potential Destiny's Child biopic and a Spike Lee movie starring Drake.

In December 2013, Screen Gems executive Clint Culpepper sent an email to Sony about Beyoncé's father and former manager wanting to make a Destiny's Child biopic.

"Matthew [sic] Knowles, Beyonce's Father wants to make the film of Destiny's Child and came to me first. He's going to Universal next. Do we think it would be a successful film? They're on Sony label. I'm just not sure that it's not too soon."

According to The Daily Beast, "all the Sony execs return very enthusiastic responses."

Interestingly, another biopic about the trio is reportedly already in the works with Lifetime, slated for a February 2015 release, which will focus on Beyoncé's relationship with her father and how his divorce from her mother Tina Knowles affected her. Mathew Knowles might be trying to shop his biopic to get his side of the story out there.

As previously reportedThe Daily Beast found another music-related Sony email from April 2014 that mentions a potential Spike Lee movie starring Drake and Kevin Hart. Bart Walker, Lee's agent at ICM, send an email to Doug Belgrad, President of SPE Motion Picture Group, detailing a revised script to School Daze Too, the follow-up to Lee's original 1988 film.

"This is a new draft that Spike has written after meetings with Drake, who will play the lead role of PE*NIS, and Kevin Hart who will play DAT N-GGA JIGGA. The budget is $9 million (net, after Georgia tax credits), not including historic costs, star salaries, creative producer fees. I believe in the film both as an entertainment -- a college film -- and as a provocative and exciting piece about the conflict of traditional values (education, college) and hip hop/star/celebrity culture. Why go to college to get a job to make money when you can make more money rapping, stripping, and creating salacious music videos even if they demean women?"
