Bill Cosby's uphill battle to save his career isn't even close to over yet. Instead, it seems like with each passing day we learn of a new accuser or someone offers up scathing details of an encounter with the actor that seem to prop up all of the other allegations that came before. When Beverly Johnson decided to speak out recently it seemed like a bit of a game-changer because no one seemed to really question her account and there was a shift in the way that the media covered this story. Cosby felt it enough to actually talk to a reporter in the hopes of dividing and conquering the media. It didn't work so now Cosby's legal team is ripping into the media, one network at a time  and they're starting with CNN.

According to a report by TMZ, the actor's legal team has sent a scathing letter to CNN honcho Jeff Zucker, taking aim at the news network for daring to do a special interview with Johnson. Lawyers insist that CNN's character assassination of Cosby is unethical and in the same letter they attempt to do precisely the same thing to Johnson, suggesting that Zucker contact people from her past to see if she had ever discussed Cosby with them.

Apparently, Cosby's team has a real problem with CNN continuing to give his accusers a platform to speak out against their client. As of now, the network has yet to respond and it seems unlikely that they will scrap the in-depth interview with Johnson. It seems like Cosby's team is doing exactly what he has hired it to do -- attempt to squash all of the negativity -- and if they can't silence alleged victims, then they are going to take aim at the networks that are helping to give them a voice.

Do you think that CNN will back down or decide not to run Johnson's interview? Should they? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
