Dave Grohl and Corey Taylor are the most recent artists to join a supergroup. The Foo Fighters/Slipknot hybrid Teenage Time Killers was created by Corrosion of Conformity's Reed Mullin and also features former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri and Lamb of God's Randy Blythe. The group made things super official, too, inking a recording deal with Rise Records, Kerrang! notes.

The band cut its record at Grohl's 606 studios, NME reports. Originally, the group was supposed to be a small side project for Mullin, but it grew into something much larger with tons of other artists contributing.

"We had all these other folks that want to participate. It's a very good mixture of old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff ... People are going to be pleasantly surprised. It's pretty cool," Mullin told New York radio station WMFU.

Other contributions come from Dead Kennedys' Jello Biafra, Black Flag's Keith Morris, Max Cavalera of Soulfly, Neil Fallon of Clutch, Lee Ving of Fear and members of The Misfits, Municipal Waste, Red Fang, Goatsnake, Brujeria, My Ruin, Prong, Articles Of Faith and SUNN O))).

As Rolling Stone notes, Corrosion of Conformity posted a video in October of some music from the album. It's only a minute long, but it's something. Check it out below.

Mullin also said that Grohl's management crew is going to help figure out touring logistics, but the band would be up for a stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as well.

"We recorded about 98 percent of it at his studio," he said about the Foo Fighters frontman. "They were talking about...maybe do something like Kimmel and have three or four different singers come out at one time, like Jello and Lee Ving, maybe Randy from Lamb of God, something like that. All the songs are real short, so we could do, easily, four songs and not go over."
