It seems like Beanie Sigel is finally getting better. As fans of the "Feel It in the Air" rapper will remember, Sigel was shot last month after taking his children to school. After being in critical condition and a lengthy stay in the hospital, it seems like Sigel is finally on his way home.

In an Instagram post from Sigel's friend and fellow rapper Neef Buck, a man who is reportedly Sigel is seen getting out of a wheelchair and into a white SUV with the help of two aids.

"Alhamdulillah !!!! Masha allah !!! MY BOY IS HOME !!!!!," Buck wrote, tagging Sigel in the process of the Instagram post.

Sigel's release from the hospital is a positive turn for the 40-year-old rapper, who was previously in critical condition.

On Dec. 5, 2014, Sigel was shot outside his Jersey City home after dropping his kids off from school. Sigel, who was not reportedly targeted in the shooting, was shot in the back. Another man was also injured in the incident.

Though the severity of Sigel's gunshot wound was never revealed, it wasn't looking good for the rapper. He was required in surgery after the incident and was later heavily sedated and unable to speak with investigators about the shooting.

Sigel is best known for being an associate of Jay Z's, with the two collaborating on the No. 55 peaking single "Anything" in 2000. Sigel released six studio albums between 2000 and 2012, including the top five LPs The Truth, The Reason, and The B. Coming.

Sigel's gunshot injury came at the end of a rough patch for the rapper. He previously spent two years in jail for tax evasion and narcotics possession charges. He was released from jail in August.
