Bill Cosby may have issued a statement earlier this week reassuring his remaining fans that his career is far from over, but ultimately, his ability to continue working is in the hands of other people and that is a real problem. If just one or two women had made allegations against the comedic legend, then he likely would be given the benefit of the doubt, but with more than 15 women coming forward, Cosby is going to have to have a real uphill battle.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt was asked on Friday if the network would ever work with Cosby on any kind of project ever again, especially after shelving a new sitcom that was in development when the allegations were first made last November. Greenblatt claims it will never happen and that the network is glad to be out from beneath the Cosby scandal.

"That's safe to say. Fifteen women came out and accused him of what they accused him of. Although Cosby hasn't been proved guilty of anything, when that many people come out and have such similar complaints, it became a tainted situation and the network didn't want to proceed with the sitcom" said the exec.

Cosby may intend to keep working, but do you think that venues will keep booking new dates for his stand up show while watching what continues to be a very fluid scandal? He has played a few shows recently with the seats half filled. Do you think that Cosby is going to be able to rebound from all of this? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
