Taylor Swift has some of the most dedicated fans in the world, which she knows and occasionally rewards with presents and other surprises. T. Swift's most recent act of generosity was helping superfan Rebekah Bortniker pay off some of her student loans. The "Shake It Off" singer sent Bortniker a care package that included a check for $1,989 — an obvious reference to her new album, 1989.

What did Bortniker do to deserve such a surprise? The fan made a video of Swift and her friends having a good time and set it to the Friends theme song by The Rembrandts, "I'll Be There for You." According to The Huffington Post, Swift loved the video so much that she took action.

The care package included a painting by Swift, a few other treasures, and, of course, a handwritten note.

"I really really really really hope you like it," the pop star wrote. "I'm not a good painter but I think you're so beautiful and positive, even though you're dealing with the stress life brings, so I wanted to make you something."

Swift's act of kindness had Bortniker all shook up.

"I was so nervous I couldn't even read the letter and totally butchered it. I was just in such shock that Taylor had taken her time to think about me and send me something. I still don't think I've really processed it all, I feel like I'm just in this crazy dream. I couldn't even form words when I opened everything, luckily my mom took a minute to thank Taylor for me," the fan wrote.

In true Swift-fan fashion, Bortniker declined an offer from a licensing company that would have charged media outlets money to use her reaction video. Check it out below.
