Is Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney's new single "FourFiveSeconds" just a little too stripped down for you? Worry not, 'cause DJ Mustard is on the beat. Today (Feb. 4), just one day after the track's official music video dropped, DJ Mustard made the acoustic track club-friendly with his own remix.

Though the original version of the song is marked by acoustic guitars, DJ Mustard adds his signature touch and twinkles to turn it into a standard 2015 pop hit.

Light blips and giant booming synth beats kick off the remix before Mustard booms in with "Mustard on the beat" and Rihanna's vocals kick in, obscured now by heavy production and the heavy beat.

Drums give the song less of a folksy vibe and more of an optimistic feeling until the conclusion of the first chorus, when a round of whispered "four, five seconds" another "Mustard on the beat" and then the beat drop in.

The added production and glitzy new beats carry through West's verse and the rest of the track.

The new remix of "FourFiveSeconds" takes away the grit and vulnerability that made the original version of this song so interesting. Add that into the fact that McCartney's laidback guitar playing has been totally removed, and this song now sounds like any other DJ Mustard tune out there.

Chalk this one up as unnecessary.

"FourFiveSeconds," the original version, is supposedly the lead single from Rihanna's forthcoming studio album, which her fans have deemed "R8." Details about the new effort are currently deep under wraps.
