We have not heard too much about Kate Middleton in the last several weeks, have we? We do know that she recently returned from the yearly vacation her entire family takes to Mustique and will be heading back to work in a few days. Several sources are also reporting that Middleton has been busy decorating the nursery for her first daughter, whose arrival is expected in April. Not only is she reportedly expecting a girl, but she and her husband will probably name her Diana.

According to a report by Inquisitr, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William found out that she was carrying a girl when she was around 21 weeks pregnant, and both were thrilled. Of course, everyone is speculating on names, and if Prince George gives us any clue, then the couple is likely to go for something with meaning. Nothing would seem more significant than naming the child Diana, after William's late mother. He has reportedly struggled with the fact that his kids will never meet his beloved mother, so naming a baby after her would be a fitting tribute.

The problem is the fact that Queen Elizabeth may not approve. Princess Diana was hardly her favorite person and there are plenty of other women in the royal family who are worth honoring. If Middleton and William do not have the queen's approval on their name choice, then it could lead to friction in other areas, so it will be interesting to see if they stick to their guns on this issue.

We told you guys months ago that we had heard that Middleton was expecting a girl. Do you think those reports are accurate, or might she and her husband have decided to be surprised like they were the first time around? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
