Festivals either hate it or they secretly love it, but every year several artists leak on social media their inclusion in a festival lineup. It could be that they are just too excited and cannot hold it in anymore and just need to tell their fans, or it is just an honest mistake, but either way, once it is out there for any amount of time, somebody is going to see it. As everyone knows, the Internet is forever. Skrillex did just that yesterday, Feb. 10, on Twitter when he blurted out that he was going to headline Insomniac's Electric Forest in 2015.

In a now-deleted tweet, via YourEDM, the "Ease My Mind" producer expresses his excitement at the booking, saying, "So excited to play Electric Forest this year...I haven't been since the first one in 2011!"

There have been a few other artists or collectives who have revealed their intention to play at Electric Forest as collected by the people of Reddit, including either Claude VonStroke or some members of his Dirtybird label crew.

Over the past few years, Electric Forest's owners Insomniac/Madison House Presents had faced a challenge for the land it is on by dance music conglomerate SFX, but it was able to retain the right to the land and all legal matters have been resolved.

The 2014 E Forest lineup featured acts like Bassnectar, Steve Angello, The String Cheese Incident -- who are a staple at the festival -- RAC, Tycho, Moby and many others.

Electric Forest will take place over four days from June 25 to 28 on the Double JJ Resort on the outskirts of Rothbury, Michigan.

Tickets are on sale now with general admission and VIP options available for attendees. Head to the festival's website to purchase yours now and watch the 2015 trailer to get a sense of what might happen this year.
