New York City is well represented on this latest collaboration between Bobby Shmurda, French Montana and GS9 second-in-command Rowdy Rebel titled "Right Now."
The trio link up on a quality beat with deep-booming bass, fast-firing 808s and various whistle and airhorn samples that give it hit quality. Shmurda, Rebel and Montana all get their own verses, while French raps the hooks about living life to the fullest right now.
The verses don't sound like prison phone recordings, so it must have been done before Bobby was incarcerated, which makes sense with raps from the Brooklyn rapper.

The trio last connected on a remix of "Hot N*gga" that got some airplay on its own as the first one to officially remix the hit record.
Bobby Shmurda is currently at RIkers Prison awaiting trial for a variety of charges including criminal possession of a weapon, conspiracy, reckless endangerment and more,
His lawyer recently spoke to Complex about the case and disputes the need for a $2 million bail and the changes against his client.
"They are claiming he is a gang leader and an enforcer. I've never seen a gang leader and enforcer not actually enforce anything. He's not shot anybody. There are no victims in his situation. It's mindboggling to me that this bail is $2 million, but I know what this is about. This is a show ... It's unfortunate because this young man's life is on the line as a result of this thing."
