The good news for Bruce Jenner is that it is unlikely that he will be criminally charged in connection with the deadly crash he was involved in a few weeks ago. While there is reportedly video that seems to indicate that Jenner was likely following too closely making him accountable, he was not under the influence of anything, speeding or texting. When you take these potential factors out of the equation, then criminal charges are unlikely. That does not mean the Olympic champion will be totally off the hook, though. Sources claimed that a civil suit over the Malibu crash could completely ruin the underinsured Jenner.

Jenner was apparently insured for $250,000, an amount that, for the rest of us, would be more than enough coverage. But for the reality star who is worth mega millions, it is not nearly enough.

A report by Radar Online confirmed "that the former Olympic champion only had insurance coverage up to $250,000, leaving him in a precarious position if the crash victims or loved ones of the woman killed in the accident decide to sue. It's absolutely crazy that someone who has his kind of money would risk everything by not having higher rates of protection," said the insider.

Kim Howe, a 69-year-old widow, was killed in the crash and, if Jenner is found responsible in any way, then it paves the way for her family to file a huge civil suit against him. Unfortunately, he is not protected from the financial damage that they could easily attempt to do. It seems Jenner's fear of being criminally charged and maybe facing jail time were really just the obvious surface layer of this situation.

Do you think Jenner recently relocated to a ranch in the mountains because he is anticipating that this case is going to be making headlines for quite awhile and he wanted to make it a little less easy for the paparazzi to follow his every move? Have you noticed that the Kardashian family seems to have backed away from him rather than be supportive? Do you think a civil suit is inevitable here?
