Rapper 2 Chainz will be performing later this month at an Atlanta Hawks game as they take on Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat. He will not only be playing a three-set performance throughout the game, but also introducing the Hawks players at the beginning of the game. He will perform at halftime and give an encore performance after the game, which could be an incentive for fans to stay until the end if the team is getting blown out.

The collaboration between the Hawks and 2 Chainz -- real name Tauheed Epps -- does not stop there. The first 5,000 fans will get a copy of his latest mixtape T.R.U. Jack City, an ode to the famous 1990s film Tru Jack City. As reported by Complex, the team will create original video content with Epps and display it on the JumboTron throughout the game. There is also a new line of Hawks-2 Chainz apparel available for purchase at the official Hawks store.

"As an Atlantan, I'm excited to collaborate with my beloved Hawks on March 27 as they face off against the Miami Heat," 2 Chainz said in a statement via Bleacher Report. "The Hawks have been 'TRU to Atlanta' this season so it's only right that we come out to support."

This is just the latest promotion the Hawks have tried to roll out to get fans in the seats. Despite holding the best record in the NBA's Eastern Conference and being one of the best teams in the whole league, the club has struggled to sell tickets. They did a Tinder Night in January that encouraged fans to meet up with their Tinder matches during the game.
