If you were a fan of the Foo Fighters' HBO series Sonic Highways, then you're in luck because the show might get a second season, according to Dave Grohl.

The series was named after the group's latest album and premiered in October 2014. It followed Grohl and company as their recorded their eighth studio album in different cities across America and featured guest appearances from artists from those areas.

In a new interview with Billboard, Grohl said that the potential second season might be based in the Europe and the UK.

"There might be a season two. There are a lot of studios," he said. "If we went to somewhere like Abbey Road it'd be fun to interview someone like Paul McCartney or George Martin, that'd be kind of cool. Or go to say, Berlin, and interview someone like David Bowie or Iggy [Pop]. You could go to Manchester and interview the Happy Mondays, guys."

Grohl says that the band's drummer, Taylor Hawkins, is the man to see about UK studios.

"Taylor is one to ask about the UK studios," he said. "He's been to them all, even if they're kebab shops now. He'll show up and be like, 'You guys know that they f**king recorded Queen's The Game in here, right?'"

Hawkins added: "They're hallowed ground, I think they're churches, man."

Sonic Highways will be released on DVD on April 7. It will feature extended interviews with Dan Auerbach, Joan Jett, Dolly Parton, Billy Gibbons, Gibby Haynes, Ian Mackaye, Chuck D, President Barack Obama, and more.

Before Season Two happens, the band will head out on tour and headline Glastonbury. Grohl will also celebrate Record Store Day as this year's ambassador.
