Tragedy has truck the dance music festival circuit again. 22-year-old year old San Diego native, John Hoagn Dihn Vo, died after collapsing and suffering from a possible seizure at Insomniac Events run Beyond Wonderland at the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore, California. Vo was pronounced dead after 11 p.m. on March 20 according to the supervising deputy coroner, Randy Emon via The Los Angeles Times. The cause of death has not been determined, though a toxicology test is being run to detect if any drugs were in his system.

Jennifer Forkish, a spokeswoman for Insomniac Inc., said in a statement: "We received the heartbreaking news that a guest of the festival passed away after attending the show.

"While the cause of his passing will take time to determine, what we do know is that somewhere his family and friends are grieving," she continued. "To them, we extend our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."

Insomniac has come under fire in recent years for ecstasy and drug related deaths by attendees at its festivals. In 2010, a 15-year-old girl died after taking ecstasy at Electric Daisy Carnival at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles.

Over 70,000 festivalgoers attended Beyond Wonderland over the two days on March 20-21. The event featured internationally known DJs like Tiësto, Hardwell, Carl Cox, Knife Party, Dillon Francis, John Digweed, Arty, Tchami and others.

Stay tuned for more updates on this case and how it might impact Insomniac in Southern California.
