They sent out the S.O.S. call: Last night, April 15, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Brand New unleashed lyric sheets for the debut of their new single, the second in six years, "Sealed to Me."

The Long Island-based alternative rock bands stole the stage in the early 2000s, when rivals Taking Back Sunday and Brand New were putting out albums incessantly. While Taking Back Sunday releases music more frequently, Brand New have finally debuted two new singles, "Mene" and "Sealed to Me," six years after Daisy, their 2009 studio album, noted Stereogum. Both singles will be featured on their fifth expected studio album, to be released later in 2015.

Back in school, they never taught us what we needed to know, like how to get our hands on Brand New lyric sheets. Fans have flocked to social media to show off their newly acquired sheets, freshly printed with new lyrics. At the Los Angeles show, lyric sheets were given away for free with any purchase of band merchandise and handed out before their encore of "Sealed to Me."

The band's Instagram was recently wiped clean of all posts, indicative of the new album. Now there are only seven photos on the account, all of which promote their innovative material and upcoming shows. When The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me debuted, it came fully equipped with a booklet filled with pictures, phrases and the sentence "Please send $1 to [address] for a complete copy of the lyrics," noted Alternative Press.

According to the band's Instagram, coveted lyric booklets are finally available for unlimited printing after a booklet mishap years ago. Brand New fans certainly realize the value of a dollar.
