Believe it or not, Valentine's Day is right around the corner. To help celebrate, Starbucks is releasing its annual Sweetheart compilation album, full of indie rock covers of some of music's most beautiful and classic love songs. In the spirit of giving, today (Jan. 22) Matthew Houck, better known as Phosphorescent, released his cover for the album, a reimagining of Bob Dylan's "Tomorrow Is A Long Time."

Originally released on Dylan's 1972 album Greatest Hits, Vol. 2, Phosphorescent traded the original plucky, folky acoustic guitar for a soft, melodic electric take. His simply drippy vocals capture the raw beauty of the standout love song, giving the entire package a relaxing, simply loving vibe, making it a true standout even in its quietness.

Listen to Phosphorescent's take on Bob Dylan below, via Consequence of Sound:

Phosphorescent's contribution is just one of 13 songs on the Valentine's Day compilation album Sweetheart 2014 for Starbucks. Jim James, Beck and Vampire Weekend have already debuted their cover songs for the indie-filled album. Sweetheart 2014 will be released on Feb. 4 at Starbucks stores and via digital retailers.
