Adam Lambert just released the tracklist and official artwork for his new album The Original High, and now the record's first official single has arrived. Today (April 21), the American Idol alumnus released the lyric video for his "Ghost Town."

The song begins with the strum of an acoustic guitar throughout the entire first verse, and it seems like "Ghost Town" will be a total musical turn for Lambert. It seems that way until the first chorus hits, the beat drops and the song becomes an EDM-fueled exploration. The song still marks a refreshing light side of Lambert as he sings about his broken "Ghost Town" heart.

"Died last night in my dreams / Walking the streets of some old ghost town / I tried to believe in God and James Dean / But Hollywood sold out," he sings in the opening few bars with a distinct tenderness to his voice before declaring: "Now I know my heart is a ghost town."
